2024 SLS SUPER CROWN FINAL BETTING PREDICTIONS

2024 SLS SUPER CROWN FINAL BETTING PREDICTIONS

The 2024 SLS Championship Tour is coming to an end, and the SLS 2024 Super Crown Final is upon us. Before diving into our final predictions and picks for the season, let’s quickly recap the four arena stops leading up to the Final.

The Season kicked off at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France, back in February, where Aurelien Giraud walked away with his first SLS win after an impressive performance in front of an enthusiastic French crowd.

At the second arena stop of the tour in San Diego, another hometown hero, Braden Hoban, claimed his first SLS win ahead of defending Super Crown Champ Giovanna Vianna and Gustavo Ribeiro.

The third arena stop in Sydney saw yet another skater earning his first-ever SLS win, when Sora Shirai put on a dominant display, absolutely destroying the kinked hubba and sealing the deal with a 9.4 on his fourth best trick attempt to walk away with the win ahead of Giovanni Vianna who, once again had to settle for second place.

At SLS Tokyo Sora Shirai secured back to back wins, claiming his second SLS title after an amazing battle with fellow countryman Yuto Horigome and fan favorite Chris Joslin. In the end, just 0.6 points separated Sora in first and Joslin in third.

In three out of four arena stops on this year's tour, there have been hometown hero winners. With both Giovanni Vianna and Felipe Gustavo already locked in for the Super Crown Final, we can’t rule out yet another hometown hero win in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at our picks for the 2024 SLS Super Crown Final.

FAVORITES
Yuto Horigome
Odds:
TBD

At the top of our list is two-time Olympic Champion Yuto Horigome. In addition to his back-to-back Olympic golds, Yuto has a win at Tampa, an SLS Apex victory, and a World Skate Olympic Qualifier event win this year. With his consistency and unique trick selection, Yuto should always be considered a danger man and a favorite in any contest he enters. Backing him is never a bad bet.

Giovanni Vianna
Odds:
TBD

Our second pick for SLS Super Crown Final is the defending SLS Super Crown Champion, Giovanni Vianna. Since his Super Crown win last year, Giovanni has continued to improve and has delivered solid performances throughout the season, with second-place finishes at SLS San Diego and SLS Sydney as his best results. The Brazilian is the number one ranked skater, ahead of Felipe Gustavo and Chris Joslin, and is already qualified for the Final, making him a top contender for the Super Crown title.

Sora Shirai
Odds:
TBD

Sora Shirai rounds out our list of favorites. Sora has been on an absolute tear, with back-to-back wins at SLS Sydney and SLS Tokyo, and is currently skating on a completely different level. Can he make it three wins in a row? Stranger things have happened, and we all know that winning begets winning.

SLEEPERS
Nyjah Huston
Odds:
TBD

Referring to Nyjah as a “sleeper” feels strange, but aside from winning one of the SLS Apex events, he has uncharacteristically struggled to deliver when it really counts. However, leaving Nyjah off this list would be a disservice to all punters, and it is far too early to count out the winningest SLS skater of all time. Sooner or later, he will return to his former self.

Chris Joslin
Odds:
TBD

Chris Joslin is already qualified for the Super Crown Final and has been skating incredibly all season, delivering one strong result after another. Just look at his performance at SLS Tokyo-at any other event, that could have been a win. This year's Super Crown course looks like it will allow Joslin to capitalize his rare arsenal of heavy hitters, and he is definitely due for a win.

LONGSHOT
Vincent Milou
Odds:
TBD

As our longshot for the 2024 SLS Super Crown Final, we have Vincent Milou. We’ve said it before: Vincent knows how to put together a run that scores well, and he has the individual tricks to land him in the nine club. The Frenchman finished second behind Giovanni Vianna at last years Super Crown, and if he can make it through the knockout round, anything is possible. Backing Vincent could lead to a nice payday, making him the perfect longshot for this years Final.
